For over 35 years, we at KAS have prided ourselves on being one of the industry’s leading suppliers of innovative and fashion forward rugs. In 2014, we lent our decades of experience and expertise to the world of pillows and poufs. Extending our growth further, we also partner with renowned celebrities and designers to create lifestyle brands that open new doors and lead to greater opportunities.

KAS was founded in 1981 by Rao Yarlagadda and his wife Kas, the namesake of the company. Together, they started KAS as a small importer selling Indian Dhurries and quickly became known as a forerunner in color and design trends. Being a family business, we’ve always retained a small company atmosphere while continually building our infrastructure to support our expanding customer base. At KAS, we provide personal attention to every customer that has joined us on this journey in revolutionizing home design trends and making homes more stylish than ever. Longstanding relationships and extensive product breadth has always defined our leading market position and continues to drive us forward.

Today, KAS carries over 70 collections of handmade and machine-made rugs, including 7 indoor/outdoor collections and has expanded its product line to include pillows and poufs. You will find looks to suit all your lifestyles ranging from casual and contemporary to traditional and classic, along with indoor/outdoor, natural, coastal and kids’ rugs. KAS is well known for being in the forefront of innovation and design and continues to bring the most unique constructions and latest design and color trends to market.

KAS is headquartered in Somerset, New Jersey with permanent showrooms in Atlanta, High Point, Las Vegas, and New York City. KAS now services customers worldwide in every category of floor coverings and all channels of distribution including brick & mortar, e-commerce & hospitality.
